About of the library
The Central Library of Synergy School of Engineering in Dhenkanal, Odisha. As the heart of academic growth for students. With an extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources, It maintains separate collections of Reference Books, Bound volumes of journals. The whole library operations run on an Open-source Integrated Library Management software-KOHA. The Central Library provides service from morning 08 A.M. to night 08 P.M. Apart from lending of books and felicitating the surfing of e-journals/magazine, the library also provides reprographics services to the staff and students like Xeroxing and printing.

Rule of the Library   

  1. Library circulation transaction as per time table.
  2. User should check the physical condition of a book while borrowing the same.
  3. Immediately after the issue of a book, the user is required to take out the same from the library.
  4. User should not deface mark, cut, mutilate, or any type of damage library resource in any way if anyone is found doing so he/she will pay double cost of book.
  5. User can take maximum 05 books at a time from the library for 15 days and if they will not returned this book during this period then one rupees fine will be imposed per day as per library rule and regulation.
  6. If the user has issued the book in a particular day then he/she cannot return the book on the same day, but he/she can return these it after one week.
  7. If the user have outstanding books in their name they have to returned these books then permitted to issues other books.
  8. If the user has outstanding due then he/she will be informed through email, telephone & notice board.
  9. Any user has any complaint regarding library they are advised to inform through proper channel.
  10. No one can talk over mobile phone is strictly prohibited inside of library premises.
  11. Any person eligible to become member of the library or permitted by the Librarian/Competent Authority may be admitted to the library.
  12. Every member shall be required to write legibly his/her name and his/her department in the gate register specially provided for the purpose. Such a signature will be taken as an acknowledgement that the person agrees to abide by the library rules.
  13. A book which is in a great demand may not be re-issued to the same student on consecutive days.
  14. 14. Before leaving the library, students will be required to return the books borrowed by them for consultation in the library.
  15. Reader shall maintain perfect order and silence in Library.
  16. Making noise, spitting, smoking or doing anything else which may disturb other readers or which may be against the discipline of the Library is strictly prohibited. If any person does not follow this rule then Library staff has the authority to restrict him/her from entering into the Library.
  17. No person entitled or permitted to mutilate, disfigure by writing in the margins, by under-lining sentences, by marking passages or by damaging in any other way a book, periodical, map or chart or any other property of the Library.
